Lalon singer Logna to perform tonight at Boishakhi Folk live

Lalon singer Rahida Binte Islam Logna will perform at Boishakhi Folk live on January 6 at 9:30pm. She along with Shahriar Chowdhury will perform in
the live musical show on Boishakhi TV.
While talking about to get the opportunity to perform in the live musical show, singer Logna told this correspondent, “I have cordial gratefulness to Boishakhi TV authority to give the scope to perform in the live musical programme tonight. Shahriar Chowdhury will also perform with me in the show. He renders songs well. I hope viewers will enjoy our performances.”
Logna also said that she has been learning music during childhood. She first received training in music from Swapan Kumar Saha. Then she took training from her uncle Reshedul Islam for many days. She got academic training at Jamalpur Shilpakala Academy. “Then after coming Dhaka, I took admission at Nazrul Institute. From there I have learned many lessons.”
“I can render all kinds of songs but I feel comfortable to render Lalon songs. Before established myself as a folk singer, I was attached with a band group named ‘Sorol.’ From that band, a song titled ‘Dehotori’ was released. This song got popularity among the listeners,” said Logna.
