Mim wants to be teacher, to sing songs regularly

Shahrin Sultana Mim became fourth in recently finished RTV’s reality show, ‘Banglar Gayen Season-2.’ New Year has already started but Mim has no original song. For this reason, the singer is planning to release her original track soon. She is stepping forward in this regard. But Mim informed that after completing academic studies, she wants to be a teacher like her parents. Besides teaching, she will continue singing songs.
While talking about her present engagements after ending reality show, Mim told this correspondent, “Now winter holidays are going on. My university remains closed now. In the meantime, I have already taken part in several numbers of stage shows. Coming days I will perform in some other stage shows. During time to time I want to develop my musical career. It is true that my father and mother are teachers. For this reason, I want to attach myself with teaching profession. I want to do teaching and rendering songs simultaneously because I have established myself with the ideology of my parents. I have huge respects and loves to their profession. From that loves I have weakness to teaching profession. Everybody prays for me as I can fulfil my dreams.”
During reality show going on, Mim won the hearts of some viewers to render the song titled ‘Ek chokhete Hason kande arek chokhe Lalon.’
According to Mim, she always feels comfortable to render folk songs. Rendering Lalon songs many times she is getting known as a Lalon singer to all. She wants to spread folk songs across the world, said the singer.
