actress Urmila Srabanti Kar has vowed to buy a nomination form next elections as part of the Awami League. The actress revealed her wish to stand for a seat to the media on the first day

It is noted that actress Urmila Srabanti Kar has been a member of the Chhatra League since her college days at the University of Chattogram.
She was the secretary of Women Affairs and also the joint secretary of the Legislative Council back then. The actress affirmed that her political career began before she was even an actress. Even now, Urmila is a part of the Women Affairs Sub Committee of Bangladesh Awami League.
