Shirin Shila’s ‘Birangana 71’ released

Popular film actress of present
generation, Shirin Shila’s new movie titled ‘Birangana 71’ was released
on Friday. Directed by M Sakhawat Hossain, the movie tells the story
of the Liberation War in Bangladesh.
Actress Shirin Shila played the role of a war heroine named ‘Joybun’ in the movie. While talking about playing this role in the movie, actress Shirin Shila told this corresponded, “It is really an honour for me to play such a role of a war heroine in the movie ‘Birangana 71.’ M Sakhawat Hossain directed the movie nicely. This is the first movie for me which has released in this year. I tried to give my level
best efforts to portray my character in the movie. It was my first acted movie where I worked with noted actor Fazlur Rahman Babu. He also helped me a lot during shooting of the movie. The full unit of the movie is now engaged with promotional activities for it. I request to everyone to come to the cinema halls
to watch the movie in the big screen.
I hope audience will enjoy the movie.”
It is noted that Fazlur Rahman Babu played the role of Shirin Shila’s
father in the movie.
On the other hand, popular TV actor and model Shahed Sharif Khan made a return to the silver screen after six years by this movie. Shahed portrayed the role of a freedom-fighter in the movie. His
role in the movie is very significant
and unique too.
Apart from Fazlur Rahman Babu, Shahed Sharif Khan and Shirin Shila the movie also casts Jhuna Chowdhury, Khalilur Rahman Kaderi, among others
in various roles.
The shooting of the movie was completed at the beginning of 2022. The movie also received an uncut clearance from the Bangladesh Film Censor Board.
