In order to establish good governance as per engineering plans of the government during the fiscal of 2022-23 ,
a virtuous meeting as arranged by the Divisional Engineering Directorate of LGED in the port city’s LGED auditorium yesterday. Additional Chief Engineer Engr Enamul Hoaque graced the occasion as the chief guest, while Superintending Engineer Tofazzal Hossain, Superintendent Engineer of Rangamati Division Abdul Rashid, Executive Engineer Hasan Ali were also present as the special guests on the occasion. Among others, divisional engineers, Upazila engineers, public representatives and the stakeholders were also present in the meeting.
Executive engineers of Cox’s Bazar, Bandarban and Rangamati districts joined the meeting virtually and expressed their opinions.
The Additional Chief Engineer in his speech urged the participants and stakeholders to accelerate the government’s planning with honestly and continue the spirit of the ongoing works for the better interest of the country and nation, a LGED sources said.
The speakers in the meeting called on the works plan of the present government and its continuity and urged the executive engineers to enhance monitoring in all respects.
The presence journalists of print and electronic medias expressed their views on the development activities of the government and said that the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is committed to turn the villages into township. The engineers should play effective role towards pledges of the Prime Minister, sources said.
