Ishita, Tareen: Judges of same competition

Tareen Jahan and Rumana Rashid Ishita are two
popular TV actresses of the country. During childhood, they came from ‘Notun Kuri,’ a children competition
at the national level, both Tareen and Ishita won the hearts of many viewers by virtue of their acting skills at their matured ages. While taking one’s name
naturally name of other comes as usual.
Both Tareen and Ishita worked as judges in different times at national children competitions also.
Both of them earlier worked as judges in the dance competition in separate way. For the first time, they are working together as judges in the same competition.
In the meantime, last Thursday, under the banner of National Children Competition, among 48 participants of 2021 and 2022 in categories of ‘Ka,’ ‘Kha,’ and ‘Ga’ sections in the dance competitions were held at Bangladesh Shishu Academy where Tareen and Ishita performed as judges on the occasion. Dance maestro Kabirul Islam Ratan was also with them as judge in the contest. For every year, first, second and third places were selected in each categories of the dance competition. While talking about to give judgment of the dance competition, one of the judges Tareen Jahan told this correspondent, “If we spread cultural activities at the grassroots across the country, many existing problems in the society can be removed easily. Besides study, it is necessary to attach cultural activities for the development of both mental and physical health of the children. Guardians should come forward in this regard. I hope they should prepare their children to compete in the competitions properly. I give thanks to Chairman and Director General of Shishu Academy to give me the opportunity to perform as a judge in the dance competition at the national level. I want to tell guardians not to be disappointed because it is the beginning of the children to start their journeys in the field of cultural arena. Many times ahead to them and they should be prepared for the future.”
Another judge actress Ishita shared her feelings by this way, “In such of contest, I earlier performed as judge for several times. For the first time, Tareen Apu and I worked as judges in the same dance competition. We passed good times with the children and also achieved a new experience with them. I congratulate to them, who won in the contest, while best wishes for them who didn’t win in the dance competition.”
Both Tareen and Ishita informed that the winners will receive the awards from the hands of the President of the Bangladesh government, Abdul Hamid soon.
