The much anticipated series of the year, ‘Karagar’ season 2 has finally arrived on Hoichoi. The makers arranged a special screening of the series at the Alliance Francaise de Dhaka (AFD) on Wednesday where all the cast and crews gathered with the media to talk about the series, said a press release.
The first part builds suspense around the birth and arrival of the mystery man (Chanchal Chowdhury) in the jail. The trailer of ‘Karagar’ season 2 hinted that viewers will be able to learn the history of the mystery man, who suddenly appeared in cell 145 out of the blue, which was sealed for 50 years.
Director Syed Ahmed Shawki told media, “Through Karagar, I wanted to tell a story that was something that we have never seen before. There is a brutal truth underlying deep inside the story. I am overwhelmed by the way in which the audiences of the country and abroad have lovingly accepted ‘Karagar.’ I hope audiences will
also love the second part of
the series as well.”
Besides Chanchal Chowdhury, ‘Karagar’ season 2 also stars Intekhab Dinar, Tasnia Farin, F S Nayeem, Bijori Barkatullah, Afzal Hossain, Jayanto Chattopadhyay, and AK Azad Shetu, among others.
