Liza will end year with stage shows to start New Year releasing new song

Now it is the season for stage show. So, there
is no stopping especially the singers of present generation. The singer informed that she will remain busy with stage shows in and outside Dhaka at the end of this year. In the beginning of New Year, she will release her new original song. Yesterday evening, she performed in a show at BGB Headquarters in the capital’s Pilkhana area.
“I will perform in four stage performances in and
outside the capital on December 25, 28, 30 and 31.
But I didn’t keep any schedule because today (December 22) is my birthday. On my birthday,
taking part in a family programme, I will
pass time with my parents and brother,” Liza said.
Liza also said that from Wednesday night
celebration of her birthday started. This year’s
birthday seems to be something special to the singer.
While talking about stage shows, her upcoming new song and to celebrate birthday, Liza told this correspondent: “Alhamdulillah, after corona pandemic, there is continuation of stage shows across the country in running year. Stage performances are really very important for the singers like us. Alhamdulillah, I have already performed in several number of stage shows.
I have cordial thanks to the organisers of my every stage show. Coming year, I am going to release my new original song. Music video of this song has already been completed. And this year’s birthday is something special to me. Few days ago, legendary singer Runa Laila Madam’s birthday was celebrated.
I rendered her popular playback song titled ‘Gaan er khatai swaralipi likhey’ in front of her. After rendering the song she appreciated my rendering style and also encouraged me a lot. It was really very joyful matter
to me. It was really an achievement to me. Runa Madam blessed me. I will celebrate my birthday with her blessings.” Liza also said that the music video of her upcoming new song was done by Raj Biswas Shankar. Title of the song is ‘Diner Akashe.’ Lalon Lohani wrote lyrics of the song, while Nazir Mahmud has composed its music. Mushfiq Litu has arranged music of the song.
