Movie ‘Adim’ gets uncut censor certificate
Entertainment Report :
Juboraj Shamim directed
internationally acclaimed movie titled ‘Adim’ finally secured uncut censor clearance from the Bangladesh Film Censor Board.
The makers are now preparing for the release of the movie.
Director of the movie said, “The movie actually received the censor certificate on December 6 which I didn’t know. In between, the board had multiple discussions on with me and also gave me some unofficial observations. I was unsure whether I’ll get the censor or not. Then I decided to visit the board and found out the fact that I received the certificate.”
However, it was both a pleasant and hard experience for Juboraj Shamim as he received mixed reviews from the board members. He had to show the logic behind some of the scenes in the movie.
Although the release date is yet to be fixed, the makers have applied for a date. They are yet to decide on how many cinema halls they will release the movie in. But, some of the hall owners already showed their interest to run the film, said the makers.
Director Shamim said, “I was really nervous about whether to get the uncut certificate. I was not in a position to accept cutting any of the scenes as it is me who knows how I want to show the film to my audience. So, as I received the uncut certificate I’m really happy now.”
