Sreelekha Mitra coming to Dhaka

Celebrated actress Sreelekha Mitra is one of the most popular actresses in Kolkata’s movies. Recently, the actress took to social media to announce that she would soon be coming to Dhaka. She made her announcement through a video message on Facebook page of Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF).
In the video message, Sreelekha Mitra said, “I will be coming to Dhaka in the middle of January for the Dhaka International Film Festival along with my movie. I hope to show all of you this movie.” After sharing the video to her own verified Facebook page, Sreelekha Mitra also wrote, “My movie ‘Ebong Chaad’ did not get a place at the Kolkata Film Festival. However, it was selected by DIFF. Irrespective of this, all of you are wise and you will understand the rest soon.”
In the comment section of the video message, many Bangladeshi commented to Sreelekha and saying they were looking forward to her arrival in Dhaka.
Sreelekha’s movie ‘Ebong Chaad’ will be screened at the 21st Dhaka International Film Festival. In addition to acting in the movie, the actress has also produced and directed the movie herself, said the film festival organisers.
The DIFF will begin on January 14, 2023. The festival will run for a total of nine days and will screen 220 movies from 70 countries around the world. The festival will end on January 22, according to the organisers of the festival.
