Mondira to appear as ‘Kajol Rekha’ on Valentine’s Day

Debutante actress Mondira Chakraborty does not wait to watch herself as a heroine in the
silver screen. She thought her debut movie would get release date this year. But that is not happened. This movie is expected to release on Valentine’s Day in 2023. This was said by actress Mondira Chakraborty, who played the role of lead heroine in Gias Uddin Selim directed movie ‘Kajol Rekha’ on Monday.
Mondira informed that there are some incomplete relevant works of the movie now. For this reason, it is taking time to submit to the Bangladesh Censor Board. After completing all works related to the movie, it will be submitted to the Censor Board to get clearance certificate. Mondira Chakraborty told this correspondent, “Before and after working in movie ‘Kajol Rekha,’ I got some offers to act in other movies. But story of ‘Kajol Rekha’ and my character attracted me a lot. For this reason, I agreed to act in this movie. I gave my level best effort to work in the movie. Selim Bhai gave me
necessary instructions to portray the title role of the movie and I tried to give my level best to make my character perfect. As it was my first movie, so it was really a challenging matter to me. Including director, full unit co-operated me a lot while acting in this movie. My co-actors also played pivotal role to portray my character successfully in the movie. As its story was many years ago, so there was initiative to catch that time in the movie. In fact, Selim Bhai gave huge efforts for making this film. During dubbing, I was really impressed to watch many of my acted scenes. I hope viewers will be also impressed to watch this movie. I am seeing dream that audience will be impressed after watching the movie at the theatres.”
Mondira also said that before releasing ‘Kajol Rekha,’ she cannot do any other new work. She has no interest in this regard also. Basically her future in the silver screen depends on
