Bangladesh -Bharat Moitree Sangha
A meeting of the central executive committee of Bangladesh-Bharat Moitree Sangha and its advisory council was held at the conference room of the National Museum in city’s Shahbagh . In the meeting held recently, various programmes were adopted including making the association activities more dynamic, increasing nationwide organizational activities, celebrating Bangladesh-India Friendship Day and celebrating the Great Victory Day. With organization’s President and war-wounded freedom fighter Rashidul Alam in the chair, the meeting was conducted by its General Secretary Narayan Saha Moni. Presidium member of the organization and the chairman of the Standing Committee on Ministry of Home Affairs Benjir Ahmed, MP, advisers of the organization Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, Mofazzor Hossain Paltu, Justice Md Momtaz Uddin Ahmed, ambassador Waliur Rahman and presidium member of the organization Bir Muktijodha Md Abdul Haque spoke, among others, on the occasion. Speakers in the meeting expressed their strong optimism that the association will continue to maintain the relationship of mutual friendship between Bangladesh and India.
