Bhabna in her father’s directed movie

Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
During childhood, popular actress Ashna Habib Bhabna thought everybody’s father were directors like her father, Habibul Islam Habib. According to her, she first watched theatre play with the hands of her father and also took part in the rehearsal with him. Father means shooting – this thing always played in her mind during that time. But at one stage, she realised that though her father didn’t do job like others’ fathers but giving direction is his passion and fascination. From his income their family was survived and Bhabna’s school fees and others were paid.
As her father was a director, so Bhabna did not have any restriction to attach herself with acting. Therefore, after attachment with acting, the actress didn’t have any separate mood as an actress because she was grown up in the field of acting. She didn’t come into acting facing any restriction from the family like others. After seeing her father and getting inspiration, Bhabna came into acting. But most of the time Bhabna’s father has to listen that her daughter is moody or angry. After hearing these, Bhabna’s father told this correspondent with laughing that in young age, he had same type of nature which is found in Bhabna now. Despite acting, Bhabna never wanted to act under her father’s direction. This time, with the interest of her father and all actors of the movie, Bhabna for the first time is going to act under her father’s direction. Bhabna is going to play the central character in Habibul Islam Habib directed movie titled ‘Japito Jibon,’ which story was taken from noted litterateur Selina Hossain’s novel ‘Japito Jibon.’ Bhabna informed that she will play the role of Anzum, the central character of the movie.
In the silver screen, Bhabna earlier played roles of Nayantara, Podmo and Mahmuda Haque in movies ‘Bhoyonkor Sundor,’ ‘Lal Moroger Jhuti’ and ‘Dampara’ (waiting to get release date) respectively. This time she is appearing on the big screen as Anzum in new movie ‘Japito Jibon.’
While talking in this regard, the actress said, “I always sincerely wanted not to work in my father directed any work. At last, respected Selina Hossain and actors of movie ‘Japito Jibon,’ I have agreed to act in this movie. In fact, it is really difficult for me to express anything about my father. As my father was a director, so I didn’t face any kind of restriction for acting. And when I became regular in acting during that time my father started to work little bit. So, I didn’t get the scope to work under his direction. At last, am acting in ‘Japito Jibon.’ I hope overall it will become a nice movie. Animesh Aich will work as executive director on this movie.”
