Dolly Zahur, Bijori, Tanzika Amin in serial ‘Shohorbashi’

Few days ago, National Film Award winning noted actress Dolly Zahur attached herself with an ongoing drama serial. Though she acts in less number of work now but when gets good story she tries to work.
This time under play director Arif Khan’s direction, Dolly Zahur is now acting in a drama serial titled ‘Shohorbashi,’ which is being made for a satellite TV channel. The drama serial is being made with the story of Manik Bandyopadhyay’s ‘Shohorbasher Itikotha.’
Besides Dolly Zahur, Bijori Barkatullah and Tanzika Amin, Rawnak Hasan, among others, are also acting in various roles in the serial.
While talking about acting in this new serial, Dolly Zahur told this correspondent, “Earlier, I acted in a drama under Arif Khan’s direction. Arif tries to make drama sincerely and cordially. Now there is absence of senior actors’ characters in the drama as we can get the opportunity to work. Some directors are trying to present senior characters to get space in the minds of the viewers. In fact, if the drama is made with to include characters regarding necessity of the story, it will surely win the hearts of the viewers and also to create attention to watch. As this serial is being made with the story of Manik Bandyopadhyay’s ‘Shohorbasher Itikotha,’ so I have liked its story as well. Rawnak, Bijori, Tanzika and I, who are acting in this serial, we are really enjoying taking part in the shooting. After airing, I believe viewers will enjoy the serial.”
Dolly Zahur informed that before this serial, she was engaged with Sohag Kazi’s serial titled ‘Bou Birodh.’
Meanwhile, Bijori Barkatullah is now acting in Duronto TV’s children series, ‘Emil O Tar Goyendara,’ directed by Kaushik Shankar Das. Before that, late Badal Rahman made children movie titled ‘Emil er Goyenda Bahini’ with same story. To get inspiration from that movie, this serial is being made, said Bijori Barkatullah.
