I dream to be a good actress now: Mousumy Mou

Mousumy Mou is a new face of the media but her journey is about five years. In these five years, she has been loved by the viewers as an actress, model and news presenter. She is trying to establish herself as a good actress now. While talking in this regard, Mousumy Mou said, “It is my biggest dream to be a good human being. Now
I have involved myself in acting. I also have a dream to become a good actress. I was inspired by watching the performances of Mosharraf Karim Bhai and Chanchal Chowdhury Bhai.”
Mousumy Mou informed that she first acted in a drama titled ‘Obhimani Tumi Ghartyara Ami,’ directed by Julfikar Islam Shishir. After that, she acted in the same director’s drama titled ‘Chhele Dhora.’ However, she got an opportunity to play an important role in the drama ‘Pinikei Jhinik,’ directed by Jakiul Islam Ripon, opposite Musharraf Karim. In this drama, she got the pivotal role which helped to bring her into the limelight in the small screen. Later, she also acted in Julfikar Islam Shishir directed three other dramas.
Mousumy Mou said that her acted three dramas titled ‘Chokher Khudha,’ directed by Syed Shakil, ‘Ekhane Size Kora Hoy,’ directed by Zakiul Islam Ripon, and ‘Couple Kollyan Samiti,’ directed by Alamgir Sagar, are waiting to air now.
Mousumy Mou first performed as a model in the still advertisement of BRAC Bank’s all booths in the country. In the meantime, she has also performed as model with Nabila in the TVC ‘Parachute Just for Baby’ under the direction of Khalid Hasan Rumi.
Therefore, Mousumy Mou is also working as a news presenter in Bangladesh Betar. She informed that she will going to work as a presenter at Nagorik TV. She has been attached with recitation group, Konthoshilon.
Hailed from Jashore, Mousumy Mou told this correspondent, “I want to be a good human being. Now I have been attached myself with acting, so I dream to be a good actress. I got inspiration of acting after watching acting of Mosharraf Karim Bhai and Chanchal Bhai.”
