Viewers still interested to watch Noor-Suborna on screen as pair

Late Humayun Ahmed’s most popular TV serial ‘Kothao Keu Nei’ is one of the milestone works
in the country’s television history. After passing three decades, viewers still remember that serial. Sometimes they watch this TV serial on YouTube channel. Viewers are still interested
to watch two lead characters of the serial -Asaduzzaman Noor and Suborna Mustafa
on the screen as a pair.
Asaduzzaman Noor played the role of Baker Bhai while Suborna Mustafa played the role of Muna in the serial. In fact, for their outstanding performances viewers still did not forget their acting in the serial. For this reason, while giving example of drama serial, the name of ‘Kothao Keu Nei’ comes forward among viewers’ minds. After this serial, Asaduzzaman Noor acted in some other Humayun Ahmed’s dramas and serials including popular TV serial ‘Aj Robibar.’
In 2016, Suborna and Noor last worked together in Mahbuba Ferdous produced in a drama titled ‘Matir Prodip.’ In their acting careers, both of them enthralled the audiences by virtue of their acting skills. Viewers are still watching them on the screen as a pair. It is found when reading comments and posts of the viewers after watching their dramas and serial on YouTube channels. Overall, audiences are very eager to watch them on the screen.
On the other hand, both Noor and Suborna are also successful in the country’s politics. Asaduzzaman Noor was Cultural Affairs Minister of the country. Now he is the Member of the Parliament. Suborna Mustafa is also a Member of the Parliament now.
Today is the birthday of Asaduzzaman Noor. While wishing him on his bisrthday, Suborna Mustafa said, “I have many wishes for Noor Bhai on his birthday. I pray as he always remains well. I also hope he will act in TV dramas sometimes and will increase his cultural activities.”
Asaduzzaman Noor informed that like other days he will pass his birthday. He said, “I never arrange any programme on the occasion of celebration of my birthday. When I passed 50, 60 and 75 years I requested my theatre troupe not to arrange any birthday celebration party of mine. In fact, during childhood my birthday didn’t celebrate at my home. My mother might cook something more rather than other days, nothing else.”
It is noted that with Nagorik Natya Sampraday Asaduzzaman Noor has been acting for last four decades. Under the banner of this theatre troupe, he first acted on the stage in a play titled ‘Toilo Sonkot.’ ‘Ronger Fanush’ was his acted first TV drama. He was first seen in cinema ‘Shonkhonil Karagar.’
