“Please don’t spread any rumour about death news of my father, he is fine now,” Prabir Mitra’s son Mithun says

A rumour spread around the social media yesterday regarding the ‘death’ news of legendary actor Prabir Mitra. The Facebook post stated that the actor died around 10:30pm on Tuesday, which shocked the whole film industry. While contacting with the family of Prabir Mitra, they disproved the rumours of death news of the actor.
Prabir Mitra’s son Mithun expressed his frustration around the death rumours. He said, “My father is fine. Nothing serious happened to his health. Please don’t believe such rumours. We are extremely tired and frustrated by this kind of news.”
The veteran actor Prabir Mitra acted in more than 400 movies throughout his illustrious career. He won the National Film Award and Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the film industry. Some of his notable works include ‘Nawab Sirajuddaula,’ ‘Titash Ekti Nadir Naam,’ ‘Boro Bhalo Lok Chhilo,’ ‘Jolchhobi,’ and many others.
