Liberation Docfest Chattogram ends today

Liberation Docfest Chattogram 2022 is going on at the Theatre Institute in Chattogram on Thursday, said a press release.
The three-day festival, jointly organised by the Liberation War Museum and Theatre Institute Chattogram, is dedicated to documentary films highlighting the struggle for freedom and human rights of people in various parts of the world. The festival is featuring 20 documentaries and a three-day workshop titled ‘Exposition of Young Film Talents Chattogram 2022.’ The workshop was inaugurated on Thursday. Besides, Rafiqul Anowar Russell directed documentary titled ‘Mandolin in Exile’ was screened at the venue.
Liberation Docfest Chattogram festival programmer Shariful Islam Shaon, festival director Tarek Ahmed, documentary filmmaker Dilara Begum Jolly, Theatre Institute Chattogram director Ahmed Iqbal Haider and Liberation War Museum trustee board member Mofidul Hoque were present at the inauguration of the workshop.
The festival is featuring 12 local films and eight films from countries – Austria, Denmark, Serbia, Iran, India, Indonesia, Korea and Lebanon. The festival will end on October 15.
