Death anniv

Tomorrow is the fifth death anniversary of Quazi Azher Ali, a distinguished educationist, former Secretary, Govt. of Bangladesh, founder president and first Vice Chancellor, Bangladesh University and organizer of innumerable educational institutions and a social worker.
On this occasion, visits to the grave of Quazi Azher Ali in the morning and followed a ‘Milad Mahfil and Doa’ will be held at Bangladesh University (15/1, Iqbal Road, Mohammadpur, Dhaka), says a press release.
Late Quazi Azher Ali joined the then Civil Service of Pakistan (CSP). After completion of his degree from Cambridge University (UK), he served as Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) and Deputy Commissioner (DC). During his service period he compelled the then Pakistan Govt. towards meeting the just and right demand of Bangalee nation.
