Light to moderate rain at some places likely

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Tuesday predicted that light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes may occur at different parts of the country in 24 hours as of 9 am today.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershower with temporary gusty or squally wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal & Chattogram divisions,” said a met office bulletin issued in Dhaka.
