Death condoled

Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud on Tuesday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Sharfunnahar Chowdhury, mother of the Daily Samakal City Editor and Jatiya Press Club Treasurer Shahed Chowdhury.
Hasan, also Awami League Joint General Secretary, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Sharfunnahar died of old-age complications early on Tuesday morning. She was 78.
