Puja Cherry to star in romantic movie Nakphool

Talented film actress of present generation Puja Cherry signed up for a romantic movie titled Nakphool, which will be directed by Alok Hasan.
Puja will star opposite Ziaul Roshan in the movie. To be produced by Bengal Multimedia Ltd, the story of the movie is written by Ferari Forhad.
The signing ceremony was held at RTV head office in the capital’s Karwan Bazar area on Wednesday. The director of the movie confirmed the matter yesterday. Director Alok Hasan said, “In this modern era, we became so digitalised that we have lost our touch with our roots. As it is my debut movie, I wanted to connect with my culture, origin and roots with people of the country through my movie. I don’t know how much I can connect but my intention is to represent the lost culture of my country and to go back to my roots.” “I named this movie Nakphool because it will be a vital part of the movie. Basically, the movie is a tragic- romantic one. But it is not like the usual romantic movie. The story is different and will be shot in a rural setting. A lot of good movies have been released this year. So, I think the competition is high. I will try my best to match the level. I just hope the audience will love my debut movie,” he also said. While talking about to act in this movie, actress Puja Cherry said, “Nakphool is a classic symbol of love. Through this movie, we will try to portray romance and the pain of love. I can’t disclose any more details about my character but I can say that the story of this movie is very beautiful and engaging. It will be very romantic. I have worked with Roshan before. I am hopeful that the viewers will love our chemistry.”
The movie also stars Lutfur Rahman George, Ali Raj and LR Shimanto and many others. The shooting of the movie will kick off in the middle of March and is expected to release in Eid-ul-Fitr, director Alok also said.
