Timely distribution of academic books is govt’s great success: CCC Mayor

Mohammad Rezaul Karim Chowdhury Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) said that it was a great achievement of the government to deliver new books to the students on the first day of the year. It is a great achievement
of the government to deliver 346 million free books to the students all over the country. He was speaking as the chief guest at a book distribution ceremony for students of CCC-run schools at the CCC auditorium in Tiger Pass on Saturday (January 1) at 11:30 am.
Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Shahidul Alam presided over the book distribution ceremony.Among others Education Council Standing Committee Chairman Councilor Prof Nisar Ahmed Chowdhury Monju, CCC Secretary Khalid
Mahmud, Panel Mayor Afroza Kalam, Chief Education Officer Lutfun Nahar spoke on the occasion. Councilor Nazmul Haque Duke was present on the occasion .
