Chittagong City Corporation Mayor Rezaul Karim Chowdhury said, Chittagong is a unique creation of nature. Various beautification projects have been undertaken to beautify the open gardens, roads, sidewalks, midlands and roundabouts Chittagong. It has to be beautified in harmony with nature.
This requires creativity and diverse thinking. Through these projects, the city needs to be restored to its former glory by beautifying and greening it, and attention must be paid to the preservation and maintenance of traditionally important places.He said this while inspecting the work of beautification project of Biplob Udyan in Sholashahar on Wednesday morning.
Mayor expressed dissatisfaction with the slow progress of the project and instructed the project implementing agency to complete the beautification work as per the agreement in a short time.
Chief Revenue Officer Nazrul Islam, the mayor’s private secretary Muhammad Abul Hashem, law officer Jasim Uddin and others were present on the occasion.
