Fake RAB man held in city

Staff Reporter :A fake member of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) was detained by some local people in the city’s Eskaton area on Sunday morning. He was identified as Jamal Uddin, 38, police said. Ramna Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Moshiur Rahman said that local people detained Jamal while he was trying to collect extortion from the people in thename of RAB-3 personnel at Eskaton around 11:30pm. The local people handed over him to the police. Jamal is being interrogated in this connection, the OC said.
