The Counter-Terrorism Unit of the police has arrested three members, including the chief coordinator of the banned militant group Harkat-ul-Jihad.
However, their names were not initially known.
Md. Iftekhairul Islam, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Media and Public Relations (ADC) of the DMP, confirmed the information to Daily Bangladesh on Friday morning.
He said they were arrested in raids in Dhaka and outside Dhaka on Thursday night. Details will be announced later.
