Chief Selector of Bangladesh Cricket team Minhajul Abedin Nannu said, ” West Indies team are more experienced than our team in Test cricket.”
Though the Tigers showed a one-sided performance in the recently concluded three-match ODI series but the cricket critics think that West Indies are different side in Test cricket. Specially Kraigg Brathwaite’s batting performance in three-day warm-up match beckons that matter.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) XI were all out for 160 runs in their first innings against West Indies in the three-day warm-up match at the MA Aziz Stadium in Chattogram. Off-spinner Rahkeem Cornwall captured five wickets at the cost of 47 runs in the first innings.
After watching the performance of West Indies team, Minhajul Abedin Nannu said, ” Test cricket is a different game. No one can predict about a match. West Indies are advanced than us if we assess the performance between the two teams in Test cricket. West Indies have very well experienced pacers.”
He said, ” Our players have to show their best performance. We don’t think about the players of West Indies team. We have to give our best performance and earn a good result like the recently concluded ODI series. I hope our players will perform well in Test cricket.”
