2 drug peddlers held with Yaba worth Tk 1.90 cr.

RAB members raided Shah Amanat Bridge area under Karnafuli police station and arrested two drug dealers along with 36,060 pieces of yaba.On Saturday , the RAB-7 Assistant Director (Media) Mahmudul Hasan Mamun told.
He told the media that two drug dealers were arrested on Friday (December 11) at around 9:15 pm on their way to Chattogram from Cox’s Bazar with the yaba worth Tk 19 million in a covered van.
According to RAB sources, the driver of the covered van stopped the vehicle while searching it in front of the toll plaza office adjacent to Shah Amanat Bridge. Rubel Mia, Prakash Sumon (22) and helper Md. Yunus (28) tried to escape.
RAB members detained them and recovered the special yaba from the travel bag inside the covered van. The covered van (Dhaka Metro-T-22-6929) was later seized.
The two drug dealers have been handed over to Karnafuli police station, said RAB-7 Assistant Director (Media) Mahmudul Hasan Mamun.
