Meherpur district administration held an online discussion on ‘Practice of Bangabandhu in the Birth Centenary’ on Saturday afternoon.
State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain took part at the discussion as the chief guest while Chief Coordinator of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Birth Centenary Celebration National Implementation Committee Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury joined it as the chief discussant, said a press release. Deputy Commissioner of the district Dr Mohammad Monsur Alam Khan presided over it.
At the beginning of the program, the theme song of Mujib Barsha “Tumi Banglar Dhrubotara, Tumi Hridayer Batighar” was played. Chief discussant Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury answered various questions of the participants. In his speech, Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury said the relevance of Mujib’s practice is not only centered on his birth centenary rather its relevance is eternal. “If we are not aware about Bangabandhu, we will not be able to know Bangladesh. So, if you want to know or understand Bangladesh, you have to know Bangabandhu. Especially the young generation should be informed about Bangabandhu,” he added.
