Iftekhar to join Under-19 Cricket team’s coaching camp

Iftekhar Hossain will join the Under-19 Cricket team’s residential coaching camp soon at the BKSP in Savar. Iftekhar Hossain was tested negative for coronavirus in his Covid-19 test for last time on Monday.
The residential coaching camp for Under-19 Cricket team began on August 23. But Iftekhar Hossain could not attend the coaching camp, as he was tasted positive for coronavirus in his first Covid-19 test.
When his teammates were busy in their intensive training camp, Iftekhar Hossain was in isolation at the dormitory of BCB-NCA.
Iftekhar Hossain, the man from Bhola district was the only youngster, who was tested positive for coronavirus. Apart from Iftekhar Hossain, all the cricketers of 45-member preliminary squad of Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket team were tested negative of Covid-19 test.
Physician of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Debashis Chowdhury said, ” Iftekhar Hossain is totally okay now. He has tested negative in his Covid-19 test for last time.
He will join the residential camp soon.”
“It’s a good news that he was found negative twice in a row to help us make a genuine assessment of his health status. He was found positive in the first time and in the second and third time he was tested negative, said Abu Emam Mohammad Kawser, the Senior Manager of the National Game Development of BCB.
