Tax & tariff are always something dry in context and textures. Income tax is, perhaps, the most cumbersome thing in the tax regime ¾ full of tougher regulations and hardy calculations. People, in general, have the propensity to avoid tax payments surrendering his or her wealth to the State or National exchequer by paying it voluntarily. Even then, to the wealthy ones, it is their legal and social responsibility to pay taxes to support public expenditures in the protection of state, its security, public welfare and social peace. To encourage the taxpayers in a botheration-free festive mood, the NBR ¾ National Board of Revenue ¾ is holding ‘National Income Tax Day Fair’ in the recent years.
