School Handball Tournament starts today

The Polar Ice cream 22nd School Handball (Boys’ & Girls’) Tournament starts today at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
Bangladesh Handball Federation has arranged the handball meet while Polar Ice cream is the title sponsor of the competition.
Minister for Cultural Affairs Asaduzzaman Noor will open the handball competition as the chief guest while Director of Polar Ice cream KM Touhiduzzaman will be present with him as the special guest.
President of Bangladesh Handball Federation AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul will preside over the inaugural ceremony.
A total of 15 teams splitting into eight groups are taking part in the first phase of the Boys’ Group.
A number of 17 schools dividing into eight groups are competing in the first phase of the Girls’ Group.
The finals (Boys’ Group & Girls’ Group) will be taken place on September 9 at the same venue.
