State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain on Friday urged the government employees to stand uncompromising against injustice and corruption for the sake of peace and development.
“We will have to work united to build a developed and prosperous country,” the Minister said while addressing a discussion marking the 44th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Women Technical Training Centre in Motijheel in the city.
The Bangladesh Karmachari Kallyan Board (BKKB) arranged the discussion which was addressed by Public Administration Secretary Faiz Ahmed as the special guest.
Prof Dr Rafique Ullah Khan, Vice-Chancellor of Sheikh Hasina University at Netrokona, addressed the function as the chief discussant with BKKB Director General Satya Brata Saha in the chair.
The State Minister said that Bangabandhu never compromised with injustice and corruption and he dreamt of building an exploitation-free country.
“Being imbued with the ideology of Bangabandhu, we will have to work for the welfare of the people,” he said.
Farhad Hossain said that the anti-liberation forces engineered the assassination of Bangabandhu and they are still hatching conspiracies against the nation. He urged all to remain alert against the anti-liberation forces.
