Ctg woman sets self on fire, dies

A housewife from the port city’s Boalkhali upazila has died after setting herself on fire out of anger Friday (Augsut 30).
26-year-old Sharmin Akter succumbed to the burns while undergoing treatment at Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Friday (August 30) evening.
CMCH Police Outpost Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Alauddin Talukder told medias that Sharmin Akter set herself on fire after pouring kerosene at early hours in the morning, following family dispute. Almost 90 percent of her body got burnt.
