Fire guts Singer warehouse

A fire gutted a godown of electronics +show rooms of Singer at City Gate area of Pahartoli thana in the cityon Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out around 5.45 am and spread rapidly in the whole godown, said Jashim Uddin, Deputy Assistant Director of Chattogram Fire Service and
Civil Defense. Four firefighting units rushed to the spot and doused the fire after one and a half hour, he said. Huge Singer products including TV, fridges, fan, air-conditioner, solar.
