PULAA AGM held

The annual general meeting of Premier University Law Alumni Association (PULAA) was held recently at PU Auditorium at Pabartak crossing in the city with its President Senior Judicial Magistrate Md. Shoibuddin Khan in the chair.
Vice chancellor of PU & Chief Patron of PULAA, noted social scientist and winner of Ekushey Padak
Prof. Dr. Anupam Sen graced the occasion as chief guest. General Secretary of PULAA Mr. Sanjay Biswas delivered address of welcome in it. Mrs Tanzina Alam chowdhury, Chairperson of Law Deptt, PU and Dr.Abdullah al Faruque, Dean, faculty of Law, Law Deptt of PU attended the AGM as special guests. Joint general secretary Mr. Shuvashish Sharma moderated the total session. The General secretary presented annual reports of 2017-18 before the AGM which unanimously approved by the Executive Committee. The chief guest was welcomed at the AGM venue by the Office Secretary Advocate SM Sakib Bin Sarwar with presentation of Crest . Chief Guest unveiled the cover of Souvenir” Unmesh”. The chief guest in his brief deliberations urged the PULAA members to formulate carrier oriented programs, assistance to Law Department library of PU and hoped for PULAA’s continued prosperity and progress.
He also hoped for bright future of the PULAA for the better interests of the Premier University The chief guest also mentioned that 25 students of law deptt now engaged in different universities as teachers, 20 working as Judicial service commission as Judge and more than 8 hundred successful law graduates are practicing in Supreme court, Judge court and other lower courts of the country.
After end of AGM, on behalf of PULAA Executive committee 2017-2018 presented Honourary Crests to the newly elected Asstt. General Secretary, Finance Secretary, Library secretary and EC members of Chattogram District Bar Association of session 2019 those elected in immediate past election.
Besides, PULAA honoured the newly appointed Asstt. Judge of Bangladesh Judicial Commission AHM Raihanuddin Chowdhury , Md. Saif islam respectively.
