CCCI President demands HQs of 5 banks in Ctg

President of Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industry Md.Mahbubul Alam demanded location of 5 bank headquarters in the port city aiming to minimize the cost of doing business in next five years.
He said matters of IP issuing from Dhaka for importer, exporters of Chattogram not easy process which required atleast 5 days and scaling of transport truck beyond 13 tons is also a obstacles for minimsing the business cost.
He disclosed it while addressing the opening ceremony of CITF-19 at World Trade Centre here as chief guest on Wednesday last. He further said stakeholders representative in the Board of Director of Chattogram Port Authority is essential and urged to increase the manpower in customs house and Investment Board. He also suggested to install scanner in every port gate which will help to facilitate the minimizing of time for taking delivery of consignments .
He emphasised the need of mitigating the prolong waterlogging of the city for better results of the business community.
