Philippine to open visa office soon

The Philippine Embassy in Bangladesh is going to open a visa center in Chattogram to facilitate visa within ten days of application.
The visa center will also facilitate honorary service through its consulate office on emergencybasis.
This was disclosed by Philippines honorary consul to Bangladesh M A Awwal at a press conference at the conference room of Chattogram Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industries yesterday afternoon.
He said with opening of the visa center in Chattogram the sufferings of visa seekers here will be eased to the great extent as the people of Chattogram would not need to go to Dhaka and spend valuable time and money.
