Halls after name of Bangabandhu, Babu , Mohiuddin Chy at CVASU

The decisions finalised to name the three newly constructed buildings of Chattogram Vaterinery and Animal Science University(CVASU) as Bangabandhu Hall, Academic Building after name of ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury and Research Building as Akhtaruzzaman Babu .
A syndicate meeting of the university in unanimous decision finalized the names of the buildings at its 42nd meeting on Saturday last . Vice chancellor of the CVASU Profl. Dr. Goutom Buddha Das presided the syndicate meeting. The meeting was told that the construction work of Research and Farm based campus (2nd campus) of the CVASU over 20 acres of land undgoing at fast at Hathazari . Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina sanction special grant of Tk.180 crores for this Hathazari project of trhe university, sources said. In Hathazari campus, there will be two new faculty, two institutes, Farm & Hatchery and research centres for post graduate students, sources said.Among others, Profl. Dr. Nurul Anowar, Pro-VC of Chattogram University Dr. Shirin Akhter, Addl secretary of Education Ministry Md. Abdullah al Hasan, Profl. Dr.Mahbubur Rahman of CU, Dr. Emdadul Hoque of Bangaldesh Agri University and the chairman of Chattogram District Council MA Salam were present on the occasion.
