Investment in IT sector emphasised: Nowfel

Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury inaugurated a three-day long information technology fair, urging businessmen and entrepreneurs to invest more in the IT sector on Saturday .
The “2nd Chattogram IT Fair-2019” has been jointly organized by Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCCI) and Society of Chattogram IT Professionals (SCITP) in the CCCI’s Bangabandhu conference hall.
CCCI President Mahabubul Alam presided over the inaugural function while its directors and businessmen were present. Organizers said 33 organizations have set up over 58 stalls in the fair that will remain open for visitors from 10 am to 10 pm every day.
Two seminars on “Advancing ICT Through Smart ICT Service” by Grameen Phone and “Cyber Security Made Simple With Next-Gen Security Solutions” will be held during the fair.
