Bangladesh will celebrate the Eid-ul-Fitr on Tuesday as the Shawwal moon has been sighted. Reports of the moon’s sighting came in from Sherpur, Rajshahi and Rangpur before the national moon sighting committee’s meeting. Religious Affairs Minister Motiur Rahman made the announcement marking the end of Ramadan. The Middle East countries are celebrating the Eid on Monday. People in a number of villages in Bangladesh marked the occasion with Saudi Arabia.
