Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. has opened its 168th branch at Patiya in Chattogram on Tuesday. Chairman of KDS Group and President of Chittagang Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce & Industries Khalilur Rahman inaugurated the new branch as chief guest. Chairman of the Bank Abdus Samad Labu presided over the ceremony where Member of Parliament from Chottogram-12 constituency Shamsul Haque Chowdhury, Chairman of AIBL Capital Management Limited Ahamedul Hoque spoke as special guests. Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Farman R Chowdhury delivered the welcome speech.
The occasion was addressed by Patiya Municipality Mayor Professor Haroon Rashid, Patiya Upazila Nirbahi Officer Habibul Hasan, Maulana Abdul Jalil, Muhtihim of Al-Jamiatul Islami Abdul Halim Bukhari and Principal Officer of the Bank Md. Pearu. Deputy Managing Director S M Jaffar and Chattogram Zonal Head and Senior Vice-President Mohammad Azam were also present in the occasion.
The program was moderated by Executive Vice-President Engr. Md. Habib Ullah and Vice-President Jalal Ahmed. Manager of the branch Md. Jahangir Alam thanked the audience.
