City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin emphasised the need of technical education to flourish the merits and increasing skilled manpower in the country to fulfill the dreams of Vision-2021 of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He disclosed it while addressing the seminar on Regional Skills Competition-2018 at Chattogram Polytechnic Institute on Saturday as chief guest.
Principal of the CPI Md Nurul Kabir presided over the seminar. Additional secretary of Madrasha Education Institute AKM Zakir Hossain Bhuyia, Deputy secretary of Madrasha Technical Education Board Subodh Chandra Paul, Deputy Project Director of Skills Training Management Agent Md. Fakrul Kabir attended it as special guests. In this seminar 12 techincal institutes of greater Chattogram participated the seminar, sources said.
