Newly- built swimming pool awaits opening

The people of the port city is early waiting their long cherished swimming pool in the city. The construction of the dreamt swimming pool at a cost of Tk.11 crores has already completed and expected to be opened by this month.
The long felt demand of swimming pool is situated beside the MA Aziz stadium (at outer stadium) . The construction of the swimming pool started from March last year over one acre of land with 50 meters long an 22 meters breadth and 1.8 meter deep having 8 lines .
This swimming is constructed with international standard module having all facilities of dressing rooms, players lounge, and viewers capacity for 1500 people. Our correspondent physically visited the site of the pool and ascertained almost 90 percent works finally completed and lighting decoration works is undergoing. An official Chattogram Zila Klrira Shangstha told this correspondent that within 15 days , this pool will be handed over to CJKS through NSC.
