Tamim’s form mirrors peak in ICC ratings

Bangladesh dashing opener Tamim Iqbal was outstanding throughout his team’s ODI series victory against host West Indies and moved up four spots in the ICC Men’s ODI Player Rankings for batsmen.
Tamim’s rating moved to a career-high 737 points and his ranking too moved to the highest it has ever been, 13th, after his show of 130* and 103 in the first and third games of the series, with a 54 in a losing cause in the second game sandwiched in between.
The highest run-getter [6305 runs in ODI, 4049 in Test and 1433 in T20I] for Bangladesh in all formats of international cricket, Tamim aggregated 287 runs from three games that made him the Player of the Series too.
