5 rapists get 3-day remand in college girl rape case

A court in Chattogram granted 3 days remand each of five rapists in a rape case happened at Jangishah Mazar gate area under Chowkbazar thana in the city.
Chattogram Metropolitan Magistrate Md Al Imran Khan pronounced the order of remand on Monday , sources of Asstt. Police Commissioner(prosecution) said.
Court prosecution police sources said CMP police apprehended five rapists from Chowkbazar area recently as alleged with raping of a college girl.
The detained rapists identified as Mohiuddin, Saiful Islam, Ashiq Imran, Rajbir Hossain, and Moshraf Hossain. These alleged rapists detained from Chowkbazar thana area on Friday last.
Thana police source said a gang of rapists consist of 5-6 youths entered in the house of the student and confining the other members of the family , they raped the girl forcibly. Following the allegations of the girl, police instantly conducted raid and managed to apprehend them.
