BCB announces Women’s Squad for World T20 Qualifiers

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced on Tuesday the 14-member Bangladesh National Women’s Squad for ICC Women’s World T20 Qualifiers, which is scheduled to be held in Netherlands. Before taking part in the Qualifiers, Bangladesh Women’s team will play three T20 International matches against their counterpart Ireland.
Bangladesh team will depart for Ireland on June 24.
Bangladesh will take on Ireland in the first T20I on June 28, will face Ireland in the second T20I on June 29 and will meet Ireland in the third T20I on July 1.
The cricketers, who have been chosen, are: Rumana Ahmed, Salma Khatun, Nigar Sultana, Fargana Haque, Khadaija Tul Kubra, Fahima Khatun, Ayesha Rahman, Shamima Sultana, Nahida Akter, Panna Ghosh, Lily Rani Biswas, Sanjida Islam, Sharmin Sultana and Jahanara Alam.
