Walton-BSJC Media Cup Football kicks-off today

The Walton-BSJC Media Cup Football Tournament kicks-off today at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
Bangladesh Sports Journalists Community (BSJC) has organized the six-a-side football meet under auspices of Walton Group.
A total of 24 print, electronic and online houses will compete in the tournament. The 24 teams splitting into eight groups will participate in the first phase of the tournament.
The top team from each group will play in the quarter-finals.
Presidium Member of Bangladesh Awami League Lieutenant Colonel (Retd) Muhammad Faruk Khan, MP, will formally open the football competition as the chief guest.
The champions will get Taka thirty thousand and a trophy, while the runners-up will be given taka twenty thousand and a trophy.
