The research division of Bangla Academy has published over 150 research books on different topics in the last three years under its creative publication project.
The books were published on the topics including folklore, language, education, literature, culture, dictionary, folksong, literature, Shaheed Minar and parliament for children, Bangla Academy sources said .
Folklore collection is one of the major segments of the creative publication. Under the programme, a total of 25 research books were published.
The project titled ‘Remarkable Research Publications on Bangla Language and Literature’ was funded by the Cultural Affairs Ministry. The publication activities began in 2015.
Bangla Academy Director General Professor Shamsuzzaman Khan told media that as per the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s directive, the Cultural Affairs Ministry allocated the budget for boosting the research works.
