Second round of NCL begins today

The second round of four-day 19th National Cricket League begins today (Friday) at four separate venues across the country.
On the day of tier one matches, Khulna Division will take on Barisal Division Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna while Dhaka Division face Barisal Division at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra.
In the tier two matches, Dhaka Metro will play against Sylhet Division at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar while Rajshahi Division faces Chittagong Division at Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi.
Earlier, Rajshahi Division was the only team who got victory against Sylhet Division in the first round match while the remaining three matches ended in a draw.
Host Chittagong Division was lucky to avoid defeat against Dhaka Metro in their home ground while the rain-hit match between Dhaka Division and Barisal Division ended in a tame draw in Cox’s Bazar.
Besides, the match between Khulna Division and Rangpur Division tie ended in a draw in Khulna.
